Having wiped the slate clean with last season's 'Tabula Rasa' capsule collection, Adidas Consortium is back to its former glory just in time for the 2012 London Olympic Games. In anticipation of the games, Adidas invited series of creatives from past Olympic cities to design their own sneaker, using an iconic Adidas silhouette as their blank canvas, and their Olympic memories as inspiration. Representing Berlin, sneaker collector Quote has reworked the ZX500 OG, staying true to the original with a blend of premium suede, nylon and mesh used for the uppers. The muted colourway references the blue and white track of Berlin's olympic stadium, and the Olympic colours make an appearance on the outsole. Limited numbers.

Representing Los Angeles, soul singer/songwrite Aloe Blacc has reworked the Decade Hi, taking Ethiopian gold-medal winning marathon runner Abebe Bikila as his inspiration. The shoe features premium oxblood leather uppers, referencing the colour of Africa's soil, and translucent gum soles, referencing Bikila's barefoot training. Limited numbers.

The Nike Vortex was originally launched back in 1985, as part of the brands famous V-Series, and it's best attribute was that it used the Air unit in the heel and a full length foam midsole to allow all round comfort and cushioning whilst the waffle outsole gave durability and traction. This size? Exclusive is presented with a mixed upper consisting of premium blue suede and breathable mesh, with a metallic red bellied swoosh. It also features Nike's famous vintage treatment on the foam and waffled sole, a thinly padded mesh tongue and reflective accents around the toe.
